A psychoanalytic reading of the film Black Swan (Darren Aronofsky, 2010), with some concomitant observations on its management of the Hollywood star system, and a comparison of the same with another exercise in 'psychotic' cinematics in Spiderman 3 (Sam Raimi, 2007).
