Here's what happened to me. In the year 2000, I worked for an emergency door repair service in Memphis Tenn. One Sunday afternoon I got a page from my office to go to an address in a suburb of Memphis. I went there and a man opened the door, he was in his middle to late 60's , had silver hair and was really fit and tanned. He was well dressed and wore a gold rolex watch.
He told me to follow him to the garage and he showed me the broken spring over the garage door and said, fix it, I don't care what it cost.
He was one of those guys that would stand there and watch everything you did. When people did that, it made me nervous so I would always start small talk while I was working. I asked him what kind of work he did and he said that he was retired. I said, where did you retire from sir? He said, I retired from the FBI.
I said, wow! That's interesting, thank you for your service, I always buttered them up because I didn't want them to freak out when I gave them the bill.
He kinda loosened up after I said that and we started talking, after a few minutes I was going to make a joke. So I said, well since you worked for the FBI, maybe you can tell me something, he said, what's that? I said, who killed Kennedy? I was chuckling and was joking around and I thought he would say, Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy.
He looked me in the eye and said, Lyndon Johnson and Hoover had Kennedy killed. I was stunned into silence. I looked for him to say, gotcha! Or something like that but he was dead serious
I went back to work and got thru and didn't say anything else. I started thinking, this guy is nuts! He's not an FBI agent, he's crazy. So I handed him the bill and he said, come into my office and I'll cut you a check. So I went there and I looked around and there was all kinds of FBI diplomas and pictures and even a picture of him with Lamar Alexander.
I was flabbergasted. So I summoned up my courage and I said, sir,I just gotta ask you something. He stopped me and said, you don't believe it do you?
He knew what I was going to say, I said well I have a hard time believing the vice president of the United States and the director of the FBI would kill the President. He said, do you have time for a cup of coffee? I said, I'll make time. We went into his breakfast nook and he made me a cup of sanka coffee and he talked about 45 minutes. I didn't interrupt him once. Well, this is getting long and my eyes hurt. But everything I just wrote down here is true. I will say that 17 years later I was living with my son and I started watching YouTube, one day I was looking for a video and saw a thumbnail that read something like, johnso, Hoover and Kennedy. I clicked on and it was a guy who had written a book and he was answering questions at a library somewhere and that guy said basically everything that FBI agent said to me 17 years before. The guy who wrote that book was Roger Stone. I had no idea who Roger stone was at the time. Well, that's my story. It's all true thanks for reading this
President Kennedy was hated by Lyndon Johnson, his vice president, by the Joints Chiefs of Staff, by the CIA (whom Kennedy had pledged to crush and scatter their dust to the four winds), and the Cosa Nostra. After the Cuban Missile Crisis, that was the last straw in their eyes. Between the Mafiosi and the Pentagon, I'm sure they decided he was a "clear and present danger" to the U.S. For me, it was the saddest day as a citizen of this country. If he would have lived, he was going to withdraw all 17,000 advisors in Vietnam. A lot died with John F. Kennedy. I'm 70 years old. I remember him.
When I was stationed at Bragg in the late 70s-80s, I was already a big JFK assassination hobbiest having attended a seminar at the UofSC on the subject in '78. At Bragg one night, after I had graduated from the old 82nd Sniper Course, I was having a few beers with one of the cadre I had gotten to know in the course ... and we got to talking about the JFK assassination. He told me that night (long before the Internet) that it was a Bragg trained shooter that was on the grassy knoll. He was adamant about it telling me that he had been told that by former (Vietnam era) cadre whom knew it through the grape vine for whatever reasons. I was always skeptical, until now. I just checked and, come to find out, James Earl Files (aka James Sutton) was a Bragg trained 82nd sniper school Vietnam era combat vet sniper grad. After watching the above video ... Files is not lying. Too many exact details, too many things said that make perfect craft sense in terms of a mission .... he's not lying. I have no doubts in my mind that this guy is the shooter. Also, with that said, the Fireball out of a Remington 700 also makes perfect sense.
I am from the same area as this man. He accurately named people , streets, towns and neighborhoods without pause and without a single error. He is not lying...
I'm from Dallas TX. When Kennedy was killed nobody believed that Lee Oswald was the assassin. All the places of business closed down immediately and my husband was sent home from work. I know the Mesquite TX area well. This man is telling the truth about the places he described. The motel, the area, Arlington TX, Fort Worth TX is nearby - everything. Jack Ruby was well known around town.

Georges Bernanos, monárquico tradicionalista francés, padre de un falangista de los de José Antonio, cuenta en Les Grands Cimetières sous la Lune (1937) su experiencia de la guerra civil española en Mallorca, y su consiguiente desilusión con los conservadores y con la Iglesia Católica que promovían las masacres y purgas de izquierdistas que allí se llevaron a cabo con el mismo celo y convencimiento con el que los milicianos mataban a curas y católicos en Madrid o en Cataluña. Su testimonio sarcástico, asqueado y casi enloquecido tiene mucho que ver sin duda con experiencias que sólo cuenta en parte, y que debieron de marcarles a él y a su hijo.
El joven Yves ("Ifi") Bernanos, camisa vieja y teniente de la falange al estallar la guerra, pertenece a esa Falange idealista y minoritaria que Georges Bernanos quiere distinguir de la Falange de aluvión, la que creció exponencialmente al estallar la guerra y se dedicó con auténtica dedicación a la masacre de civiles lejos del frente, a esos arrestos ilegales, secuestros y asesinatos extrajudiciales que tanto ellos como los matarifes del otro bando llamaban "paseos". Eso, una vez estalló la guerra y revolución en un bando y en el otro. En Mallorca no había habido asesinatos ni falangistas ni de falangistas antes de la guerra; sí peleas en los actos políticos, nos aclara Bernanos, y también se habían dado esas célebres purgas con aceite de ricino a los enemigos... pero tras el Alzamiento, pronto vieron los Bernanos a dos hermanos falangistas, compañeros de Ifi, muertos en venganza. Yendo al frente, llevando a su hijo Ifi en su moto roja, Bernanos se encuentra el cadáver lleno de moscas del primero de los hermanos falangistas. Efectos del ricino. El segundo seguiría sus pasos poco después, y recibiría un funeral de honor tras el rechazo de la expedición catalana, cuando triunfó definitivamente el levantamiento militar en la isla, con ayuda de los italianos.
Y así cuenta Bernanos lo que creo que es sólo parte de lo que siguió. Minimizando, esto es, las posibles responsabilidades criminales de su hijo durante los meses que siguieron. Sí sabemos que para cuando escribió su libro, en invierno del 36-37, Ifi Bernanos había dejado atrás la Falange, y Mallorca, y navegaba en un carguero por la costa oeste de África. Hecho un mar de confusión e ira, sin duda, como confuso y airado está su padre al dar el libro a la imprenta, a pesar de su tono lleno de certidumbres sarcásticas.

Qu'ils fussent vieux et pauvres, cela devrait plutôt calmer vos scrupules, si vous saviez réprimer les aveugles réflexes de votre sensibilité. Car un vieux a moins de prix qu'un jeune. Et puisque les pauvres ne goûtent guère aux joies de la vie, il n'y a pas de grand désavantage à les priver d'un bien dont ils tirent peu de profit."
Bernanos acabaría reñido con derechas e izquierdas, y asqueado de Francia también como de España, se expatrió a Sudamérica durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, apoyó a De Gaulle y acabaría denunciando la civilización del maquinismo y la automatización. Su hijo Ifi también se uniría durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial a la Francia Libre de De Gaulle.
Todo esto me ha recordado otra historia de falangistas asesinos que conozco.
Me contó mi tía Pilar, poco antes de fallecer, que con el tiempo había sabido más sobre unos asesinos de la Falange. Sobre quienes mataron al padre de su marido, o sea, mi abuelo, que hubiera sido su suegro si hubiera sobrevivido la guerra y se hubieran llegado a conocer. Hablando aquí y allá con la gente del pueblo, supo que de los falangistas que asesinaron a mi abuelo Ángel, también en el verano de 1936, uno estaba compungido y lloroso, lleno de remordimientos por lo que había hecho. No sabemos si le duraron mucho o no. El otro, o uno de los otros, aún iba ufano galleando, —"seguía entero", le dijeron. Al parecer. Por Jaca era donde tenían su cuartel. En los meses que siguieron tendrían ocasión de matar a mucha más gente, allí, según se cuenta en El eco de las descargas, y posiblemente lo hicieron. Uno de ellos muy posiblemente. Y quizá los dos—no sabemos ni que sí ni que no.
