Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Nihilism, and Arbitrariness

This is a brief note criticising some anti-foundationalist and anti-essentialist semiotic assumptions in Nietzsche and Wittgenstein, from the standpoint of a classical structuralist perspective which (following Saussure) sees the play of differences as crucially constitutive of a system of positive terms.

Wittgenstein on language

 

De la película de Derek Jarman Wittgenstein—lo he visto en Lux cum corde.  Ni que decir tiene que Wittgenstein subestimaba el parecido entre los humanos y los leones— y las posibilidades de la filosofía en tanto que juego lingüístico.

Y las ventajas de hablar sobre aquello de lo cual no se puede hablar, en lugar de quedarse callado.
