El juego de Ender (1977, 1985) es una de esas ficciones en las que la realidad flojea, donde se circula de modo inesperado o sorpresivo entre niveles de realidad y de representación, donde a veces no queda claro si la acción está transcurriendo en un mundo sólido o en uno virtual, y donde a veces creemos estar en uno y estamos en otro. Se anticipan aquí de modo imaginativo y perspicaz los desarrollos de la experiencia virtual, de los videojuegos y de la conectividad en red que luego nos ha traído Internet.

English abstract: 'Ender's Game' (1977, 1985) is one of those fictions in which reality wavers, as we step in surprising or unexpected ways across different levels of reality and representation, in which it is often unclear whether the action takes place in a solid world or in a virtual one, and in which sometimes we think we are in one while we are in another. This is an imaginative and insightful anticipation of later developments in virtual experience, in videogames and in online connectivity which have since been made available to us through the Internet.
