Out of Character: Narratología del sujeto y su trayectoria vital

Este artículo defiende la relevancia de los conceptos narratológicos desarrollados en el campo del análisis literario para el estudio y representación de la experiencia vital personal y en la psicología narrativa. Los hallazgos de la psicología narrativa permiten una mayor comprensión de la retroalimentación hermenéutica entre la vida y la literatura, o la vida y la narración. Apuntamos diversas modalidades y dimensiones de las historias vitales, y enfatizamos la importancia del anclaje narrativo, así como de transformaciones, crisis y puntos de inflexión.

English abstract:

Out of Character: Narratology of the Subject and Personal LIfe Stories.  This paper argues the relevance of narratological concepts developed in literary analysis for the study and representation of personal life experience and narrative psychology. The findings of narrative psychology give new insights into the hermeneutic feedback between life and literature, or life and narrative. Several varieties and dimensions of personal life stories are sketched, and the importance of narrative anchoring, as well as of transformations, crises and turning points, is emphasized.
