Una mujer de bandera

—Pero no la saco aquí sólo por guapa, no crean...  sino por poner a la mafia del PSOE contra las cuerdas. Con cuatro jueces como ésta, iban todos los chorizos, en ristra, a chirona. Y el PSOE se volvía extraparlamentario. Y el PP, probablemente, y varios partidos más hoy muy votados. A ver si le aguanta el cuerpo, y el espíritu.

Pero no es la foto de la justicia española, qué va. El resto de la judicatura no le llega al tacón, ni cuando va de plano. Además de mediática y estrella, nada—a la prensa ni Hola le dice.

En cuanto al tema este de los EREs, imagínense, sin más, que el PP de Madrid se hubiese repartido mil millones de euros de los parados, para los amigos y enchufados. Guerra civil habría. Pero aquí la izquierda, calladita.  

¿Se puede ser más sectarios?

(Y eso que ojo, el ex-alcalde de Madrid y actual ministro de justicia debería ser procesado también, por malversar fondos públicos. Así va la justicia en España, y no de otra manera).

Caso cerrado

Viendo ayer en la Filmoteca Kharij / Caso cerrado (Mrinal Sen, 1982).

El criado de una familia de clase media muere misteriosamente en la cocina. Investigaciones policiales revelan que dormía cerca del horno de carbón para mantenerse caliente. El informe post-mortem confirma que murió por intoxicación de monóxido de carbono. Los miembros de la familia quedan consternados, divididos entre el sentimiento de culpa y el miedo de que se produzca un escándalo en la sociedad. 

—Una película filmada con medios sencillos en un estilo casi documental y neorrealista, que pasa poco a poco a ser conmovedora, a medida que se van viendo las reacciones a la muerte de un niño sirviente al que nadie daba importancia.  La familia, pequeñísimos burgueses oficinistas, se ponen a la defensiva por si les va a traer complicaciones legales la muerte accidental del niño, mal alojado y descuidado en su casa.  Reciben a los familiares y amigos casi manteniéndolos a raya con un palo, haciendo como que están afectados pero en realidad preocupados sólo por que no les vayan a traer problemas o sacarles dinero. Todo murmullos y medias palabras que van retratando a cada cual. Del crematorio se van sin despedirse, agobiados por vagos temores de esos paletos de otra clase y de reacciones impredecibles. Pero éstos los siguen a casa y entran; la dueña del edificio les hace hacer a todos rituales de purificación, tras el funeral; y súbitamente se despiden, se van y acaba la película. 

El espectador se ha colocado poco a poco, como sin querer, en el punto de vista de los mezquinos "amos", tan modestos ellos por otra parte vistos desde Europa que apuro da llamarlos amos de nada. Pero allí hay clases, y muchas: en su reacción histérica de autoprotección los amos son incapaces de entender siquiera el sentimiento de ritual y reverencia funeraria que anima a la familia y amigos del niño muerto. Han venido un momento sólo a ver dónde vivió sus últimos días. Se van y nos dejan con nuestras reflexiones.

Y allí, en esa visita de las últimas escenas, una pequeña escena de homenaje al cine, tan sutil que es magistral, y conmovedora. El niño dormía bajo la escalera, y allí vemos de pasada pegados en la pared sus postercillos y recortables de Rocky y de Bruce Lee y de las películas que le gustaban. Vivió poco, trabajó mucho, jugó algo—con sus amigos y con el hijo de la pareja que le contrató. Y le gustaba ir al cine las pocas veces que podía; la señora descubre que otra sirvienta le había dado dinero para ir al cine la noche en que se intoxicó con la estufa, y se lo reprocha. Lo ve absurdamente como una crítica contra ella misma; "No deberías haberle dado dinero para ir al cine".  Pero esos sueños despiertos del cine habían sido sin duda los momentos más felices que había tenido el pobre chaval antes de morir, una vida breve entre tantas.

Es la vida para muchos— llegar a este planeta, vivir en la pobreza, ver un poquito lo que hay, la miseria ambiente, soñar con el cine y con los relatos que abren otros mundos un momento—y se acabó la película, caso cerrado.
