Homer in the Renaissance: The Troy Stories

This paper is an overview of the medieval "matter of Troy" as a source and context for a wider study of the Renaissance reception of the Homeric epics. The main sources and works are taken into account, as well as their impact and the image of the Homeric poems through the medieval and early modern period.
