We Create Our Reality

From the Stanford University channel. Frederick Travis, PhD, director of the Center for Brain, Consciousness and Cognition, explains that the concept "We create our reality" is more than a philosophical statement. It is a physical reality driven by neural plasticity—every experience changes the brain. Therefore, choose transcendental experiences and higher states of consciousness naturally unfold.

An interesting video to know more about the physiology of mental phenomena, about the mental construction of perceived reality, and about the neurology of connextions and connectivism (dendrites, loss and reinforcement of connections, etc.). The emphasis on a mental CEO regulating and coordinating information, located in the frontal lobe, is also important—and it gives new insights on the physiology of attention, a topic which has deserved part of my own attention.
